The Beginning

The first couple of days were hard. No one really prepares you for just how difficult it can be. I could only produce an ounce or two within a day, and it felt like no matter what I did, it wasn't enough. I worried that I wouldn't be able to produce enough to feed my little one.

But I kept at it-nursing, pumping, staying hydrated, and trusting the process. Slowly, my supply began to increase. After about a week, I was finally producing enough to keep up with my baby's needs. It was such a relief to see him satisfied and know that my body was adjusting.

Then came the moment I had been waiting for-I was making enough to start storing milk in the freezer! It felt like a huge milestone, one that I wasn't sure I'd reach in those first few days.

Breastfeeding has been a journey of patience, learning, and perseverance. Every drop counts, and every struggle is worth it when I see my little one thriving.

For any moms struggling in those early days-just know, you are not alone. Keep going, trust yourself, and give your body grace. You've got this
